On Friday May 22nd I will be trying my luck at NYIRP. The local 1/8th mile track is garbage so driving the hour or so to a better prepped 1/4 mile track is well worth it. Last year I ran 11.94 @ 117.95 mph on a tune that was utter garbage (14 AFR, knock sensors off, etc) and since then New Era has retuned my car and fixed the issues. Top end really pulls much cleaner and a bit harder so I am hoping for a 11.8x pass. So my mod list for Friday is
- New Era dyno tune
- ported throttle body
- suspension lowered on new bilstein hd shocks
- throttle body coolant bypass
- oil catch can
- Pfadt transmission mount
- DTE hardened output shaft
- BPP Stage 1 Z06 intake package
- Firebird Perf line locks
- BFG Drag Radials

The rear diff will be removed and all seals replaced, along with a DTE hardened output shaft being installed. Also a Pfadt transmission brace will replace the weak OEM brace that now sits underneath the rear diff.

It has been a while since I updated my blog, basically because I have been busy houes shopping and working. My car is going back to New Era Performance for some work on the diff. It has been leaking on colder days and I really don’t want to get low enough on fluid that I damage the diff. So I am having them install a DTE hardened output shaft, all new seals/gaskets, Pfadt transmission brace, and of course new fluid.
I have added a badge with contact information to the right sidebar if anyone wants to contact me. I am still debating on using gmail or my domain level mail account for contact.
